Three more women have come forward to accuse veteran comedian Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

Colleen Hughes, Linda Ridgeway Whitedeer and Eden Tirl added their names to a list of more than 40 women who claim to have been assaulted by the 78-year-old.
The women detailed the allegations at a news conference in Los Angeles hosted by celebrity attorney Gloria Allred, who represents 21 of Cosby's accusers.

Ms Hughes and Ms Ridgeway Whitedeer claim to have been assaulted on the early 1970s, while Ms Tirl said she was sexually harassed on the set of The Cosby Show in 1989.
Last month New York magazine interviewed and profile 35 of the women. They were pictured on the front cover sitting side by side on stools alongside an empty stool, raising questions about how many other women may still come forward.
